Weddings

Unitarian weddings are open to any couple, straight or gay, who wish to celebrate their love for each other. You do not have to belong to our – or any – Unitarian congregation. We welcome anyone who wishes to add a spiritual dimension to their union. We are fully registered for same-sex weddings.

There is no set form for a Unitarian wedding, and we are happy to incorporate elements from different faiths or, equally, provide a purely humanist service. Our minister is happy to work with you to design your wedding ceremony and create a service that is special for you. You may include whatever elements – readings, poems, music – that are important to you.

Our church can seat around 140 guests, with additional standing room if required.

You can download our wedding leaflet by clicking here.

If you are interested in discussing holding your wedding in our church, please get in touch with our minister at minister@rpuc.org.uk.
